Engagement Photography
in Swansea, South Wales
Firstly, congratulations on your engagement! What an insanely exciting and romantic time in your life!
Hey, I’m Ben!
I’m a professional photographer (and videographer) based in Swansea, South Wales – although I travel all over to shoot.
As well as offering wedding photography, I also offer engagement photography in Swansea and throughout South Wales.
If you’re looking looking for an engagement photographer to shoot some couple’s photos on the beach – how about Rhossili, Three Cliffs or even Langland in Mumbles? – please get in touch.
What You’ll Get from Your Engagement Shoot
A full hour of fun and relaxed
shooting time
I’ll make sure we have a full hour to focus on getting your photos.
We’ll keep it fun and relaxed. The most important thing to me is that you enjoy the shoot and feel comfortable from start to finish.
An adventure
For me it’s important that the shoot itself is a lot of fun. Whether we’re on the beach, in the woods or exploring a castle, we’ll be sure to have a good time.
* Please feel free to bring a bottle of wine or something else to drink.
Minimum of 50 photos
I promise to deliver a minimum of 50 beautiful engagement photos – all professionally edited by yours truly.
Roughly two weeks after our engagement shoot, I will send you a link to an online gallery where you can view and download your photos.
You will also be able to order prints via this gallery for an additional price.
Price
My engagement photography sessions are available from £300 (price depends on location of shoot).
Please get in touch with a few details and I’ll get back to you with a quote.

Kind words…
“Ben is absolutely phenomenal. We booked Ben for an engagement shoot at a very meaningful place to my family (Castell Coch), and he surpassed any expectations we could’ve had.
Nowadays it is so difficult to meet someone who is truly in love with what they do, but Ben is completely enamored with his craft.
He is full of life and immediately made my partner and I feel so comfortable and excited for the day. He pays attention to detail and listens carefully to what you want as well. We were able to bounce ideas and energy off each other all shoot, and were left with photos that reflected that.
As for the photos themselves, Ben completely nailed it. Every single photo is full of intention, and you can see the love my partner and I have reflected in that.I will absolutely be using him again for our wedding and hopefully down the road for family portraits.
If you are looking for someone to capture your wedding (or engagement) with authenticity and to make the process painless and exciting. I implore you to go with Ben, I am SO happy I did.”
FAQs
-
Wear whatever you're comfortable in.
If we're on the beach (and it's warm), I'll probably suggest we go for a little paddle in the sea, so wearing shorts/dresses that you don't mind getting a little wet is a good idea.
Depending on the weather, it might also be useful to have a jumper/cardigan you can pop on if the sea breeze is a little chilly.
-
I recommend allocating a minimum of one hour, though it's worth factoring in two hours together.
-
Anywhere you like!
I would suggest your favourite beach – we've got plenty to choose from in Swansea/Gower. Rhossili, Llangennith, Three Cliffs.
I also love shooting in the green spaces, so have a think about your favourite woodlands or parks. Clyne Gardens is always gorgeous, as is Penllergaer Woods. Oh, and Cwm Ivy is very special!
These larger beaches also have plenty of space, so we can seek out a quiet spot to shoot more privately.
-
Ideally we will meet in the late afternoon so we can enjoy the warm golden light in the run up to sundown.
-
Just bring yourselves – maybe a bottle of wine – and a sense of adventure.
Try not to bring anything (bags etc) that you wouldn't want to see in your photos. We'll be moving around a lot so it'll be good to have your hands free.
-
Not to worry at all – almost everybody is to some degree.
All you really need to do is take a stroll, hold hands, and enjoy the view. I'll take care of the rest.
